Pictured here is our pond, which was constructed May, 1996. It is a place for
"grownups" to sit, listen to the soothing falls, and unwind. Perhaps I
should start out by explaining how this idea came about. I had been admiring a friends'
pond for quite sometime and was putting it off because of our young children.
This spring, amidst the swingset and toys, we decided that "we"
needed a place of our own-since the whole yard had become a playground.
The seed was planted, and we couldn't stop thinking about beginning to build
our backyard oasis.
