- Clothes
The temperature difference between the plains below and the peak is approx. 20 degrees. You experience mid summer (the world down there) and mid winter (at the peak). You need trousers, long sleeved shirts and sweaters. You should wear a hat to avoid direct sunlight. It is also better to wear gloves (cotton work gloves) to prevent injuries and protect you from the cold.
-
Shoes
Sports-type shoes you normally wear are fine, and if possible ones with ankle support such as climbing shoes or basket ball shoes are preferable. Please wear rather thick socks.
-
Rainwear
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly. Please pack rain coats, rain trousers and so on that will not get in the way of your climbing.
-
Torch
A torch is essential if you are going to climb at night. Please check the batteries.
