TANGERANG (Pos Kota)- Two Reticulated Pythons were found by residents in front of the Ciledug (bus) terminal, causing quite a comotion among local residents, Saturday afternoon.
A 5-meter long python weighing 15 kg. and a 2-meter python weighing 5 kg. were first found by Nana, 36, and his friend Yadi, 36, in the empty lot in front of the Ciledug Terminal. The finding drew hundreds of local spectators because the place is usually very crowded.
According to Nana, a daily construction worker, the discovery of the adult-thigh-sized python started when he was hunting for birds in the empty lot. Nana found the snake's tracks on the ground which he followed until he found the snake on a brick-wall fence.
When he realized that the snake was quite large, he went to find his friend Yadi to help him capture the snake. When the Reticulated Python had been successfully put in a cage, he had a feeling that there would be another one nearby.
The feeling was proven correct, within minutes Nana was able to capture another python, 2 m. long which he thought to be the previous snake's mate.
"I wasn't afraid when I caught this snake. But I was careful not to get bit" said Nana and Yadi, interviewed by Pos Kota in his home RT.02 RW.02 Kampung Pondok Rajeg, Desa Karang Timur yesterday.
According to Nana, the snakes which now belong to him are to be sold to those who need them. " I will sell the snakes to whoever is interested" said he, mentioning that the two venomous creatures is offered for Rp. 700,000,- (mt/27)

The photo showed 2 pythons : the large one looks like it's about 3.5 - 4 meters long and quite slender while the other one is probably about 2 meters. Both were wrapped around people's necks.
