Hi, this is a true story!
The day 25 of September 1993 a 50 feet yacht named Flying Shamal furrowing the waters of Mediterranean Sea in a violent storm shipwrecked.
At the helm a 35 years-old Mariano Aprile, also well known as a solitary sailor.
The navigator's body was looked for by two months and one day appeared as a cadaver in the Island of Caprera.
Two years later the shipwreck a journalist of the magazine "Panorama" (Mondadori Editions) published two articles in those she affirmed of having found the solitary sailor in a island of the South Pacific Sea...

Post scriptum: in the last five years more than 360 articles have been published about it in magazines and newspapers.
The most important italian and german Tv stations have devoted hours of emissions to the case: Rai uno, Rai due, Rai tre, Canale cinque, Italia uno, RTF, RTL, Telecupole, Retequattro etc...
The italian magazine "Oggi" (Rizzoli Editions) devoted severals articles to "the misterious shipwreck" signed by Rita Cenni (May-July 1997).
A book containing the true story of "the shipwrecked" will be published soon, we are looking for some publisher interested to publish it in U.S.A.and Japan, if you need more informations please stay in touch with us!
