The future is looking grim, as huge corporations have taken-over most everything, not caring about the people affected, only money, profit, promotion. One such corporation is Omni Consumer-Products, OCP, of Detriot, Michigan. OCP essentially controls the city: products, stocks, even the police-force. But the city itself has problems. Crime is rapant, and it seems as if the city is destroying itself from the inside-out. Even the police are considering a strike, because no-one is safe.
So the head-men at OCP decide that public-works would be a good investment, ESPECIALLY police-activities, as it would benefit everyone...
...or so they thought...
They had built a large, heavily-armed Enforcement Droid, ED-209, in hopes of using it for both urban pacification and other, military, uses. But something went wrong, there was a little ''glitch'' in programming, a quite deadly one that made the Old Man at OCP weary, and open to other possible plans of action...
...enter Robocop...
...Or rather, Alex J. Murphy, distinguished, dedicated police-officer and family-man. After being unknowingly reassigned, with other officers, by OCP, to increase their chances of "mortal combat," he is killed in the line of duty, quite horribly, and violently by a street-gang. But it didn't end there for him, because he was legally dead, they could do anything they wanted to with what was left of him. And they did. Oh they did. They took what was left of him, and used his brain as the basis for a cyborg, because the ED had lacked the real experience that this cop had had.
Project Robocop was going great, and everything seemed to be going perfect, until...until ''it'' began to remember, to suspect that it might not be JUST a product of OCP. ''He'' began to dream, to have images of his past-life. He wasn't programmed for this, he wasn't supposed to remember the pains, and people of his past, his memory was supposed to have been blanked, so that his humanity was gone, for good...
...But, it wasn't...

Henceforth begins a site dedicated to Robocop, as you can see, it's CONSTANTLY under-construction, but It's being upgraded as we speak...
You might not even be vaguely interested, but please, give me a chance to explain why this movie is so truly wonderous!
I've been told that my site has a sort of contagious enthusiasm to it, probably due to my own personality more than anything else. I enjoy life, and I ESPECIALLY enjoy sharing what I know with others, and hearing back from them, so you'll notice, throughout the site, that I often ask for personal responses, opinions, etc. It makes everything more interesting to get different views, etc., especially on such a topic, which can be taken both quite seriously, and sometimes in fun, especially when there are so many angles to consider, so many things IN the movies that remind us of our own lives, our own society.
So keep in mind that this site serves many purposes. To get you through RWS (RoboCop Withdrawl Syndrome, TM *grin*), get inside the mind of a fellow fan, or maybe.. maybe to even enlighten you... *grin* ...either way, you will NOT be bored, there's MUCH ahead of you...
