The school will be holding a Games Fest on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st of July, 1999. This is the second such event to be organised for the students of the school.
The aim of holding this multi-game competition is to provide students with the oportunity to get involved in extra-co-curricular activities so that they may obtain extra points in their applications to enter local universities.
The games that the students will be competing in are as follows:
1. Street Soccer
2. Chess
3. Basketball
4. Table Tennis
Certificates of Attendance will be awarded to all participants of all events whereas Certificates of Appreciation will be given to all those who have volunteered their services as officials during the competition.
Prizes will be presented to all winners on Saturday 31st July.
In view of the time and energy put in by all concerned, the Board of Governors of the School has declared Sunday 1st August, 1999, a school holiday!!
