The North Temple was originally built up by Sun Quan, the king of Wu
during the period of Three Kingdom, in the memory of his dearest Mum.
This tower has nine stories and has been the No. 1 wooden pagoda
south of Yangtze River and enjoys a long history of 1,700 years.
