Thanx for being patient while the images load!

WE CAN BE...

We can be
cool as the snow
atop the mountains
even quieter than the echo
starting an avalanche
down down down... snowballing
into the caverns
of the valley
below.

We can be
tinier than the crushed sand
under the hardest rocks, resting
for eons of glacial time....

We can be
soft then, as the downy feather
tossed to the updrafts
upon an eagle's first flight
just as we can be the hot glow
of the setting sun
in the eyes of the she wolf
as she teaches her young
to fight and to kill.

We can be
the love of the mother bear
as she orders her cub
for the last time
up a tall tree
just as we can be
that tree, his passage
into adulthood.

We can be
the wild Hawaiian surf
finest color of blue
or every bit
of the tundra and turf
where the buffalo roam.

We can be
the pair of butterflies
golden jewels upon our wings
always together
upon a fresh
summer's breeze
visiting the beauty
of every flower
that holds the precious
morning dew
just for you.

Yes, we can be
all of these things
in fact we can be
anything
even when we're not
if we really want to be.
