The Gypsy Dancer

Above:  Trinity Hamilton as a gypsy dancer.  Ms. Hamilton had taken this still-as-a-statue pose on the little platform at the end of Franham Way, mid-afternoon on Saturday, July 12, 2003.  Her focus was total, and the tableau striking.  One might have unexpectedly wandered into the middle of a Pre-Raphaelite painting.

Below:  Later that same Saturday, the end-of-the-day drumming.  When the gypsy dances, all else seems still.  She swirled past my camera at the center of a blur of gracefully spinning color, trailing floating tresses, ribbons, and flowing skirts on the evening air.  Alas, there are times when auto-focus just isn't quick enough.  She proved as difficult to capture in flight as Ray Pena's falcon.

Who is TRINITY HAMILTON?
