When I choose a book, I don't just read the back. I look through the book, reading a little here and there, and see if the author's thoughts match, or come close to my own. I skim through the information to see if I am interested in learning it. And I go by the feeling I get from looking at the book.
Books can be found at most bookstores. The New Age section of any bookstore will have a wide range of books, but don't usually get into the specialty books. There is always Amazon.com as well as Barnes and Noble online. You don't get to look through the book, but if you know what you're looking for, or want to try something new, it's a great way to go.
Web pages are the toughest. Which ones are worthwhile? I have added a couple links here, and will be adding more over time, that I've found useful, as well as why I like them. If you have a link you would like me to add, drop me an e-mail, and I'll take a look!
The Witches' Voice - Probably one of the biggest, if not THE biggest online resources for Wiccans and Witches of all kinds. There is a LOT of information on this site, as well as links to many other sites. It can be a little hard to navigate, just because there is SOOOO much information, but spend an afternoon looking around if you're serious. I've found just about anything I've ever wanted to know there with a little searching, and some things I wasn't looking for as well!
Pagan Web Resources - This is simply a listing of weblinks. They are organized by Commercial Pages, Organization Pages, Online Pagan Zines, some Home Pages, and more. I haven't looked through half of them, but it's a good selection from what I have seen.
Azure Green - Not necessarity Wiccan information, but a wonderful online store that has stones, herbs, books, bumper stickers, jewelry, altar tools, and much more. Another one you can get lost on real quick, but you could also spend a lot of money on here too, so be careful!
