Mountain Treeshrew Tupaia montana
Despite its name this curious creature is not related to the true shrews but belongs to a separate family of mammals found only in South-east Asia. This species is confined to the mountains of Borneo and lives off a diet of fruit and insects. After being weighed and measured, this male was released to continue his morning's foraging.
