This was where the tornado first touched down. In what
was a sweltering +30C and abormally humid Edmonton atmosphere. First spotted by Tom
Taylor out on his farm, the tornado touched down for a few seconds just south of his
farm and then lept back into the sky. It touched down again just past his farm,
where it remained down. The time was 2:55PM. Four minutes later the weather
office knew and were attempting to send out a tornado warning. |
Don't worry: the dog is okay, just a little wet. |
