"Susan, We purchased our Seal Lynx Point Spotted bengal from you in April, 1997. My seven year old daughter named her "Pearly Rose". Pearly Rose is a great kitten, and growing into a beautiful cat. She's got a lovely, very sweet disposition: she's smart and energetic and great with kids. We are very pleased with her addition to our family. - The Michelsons"
"Dear Susan, Rozee looks like a happy little girl doesn't she? She is precious to us. Many thanks again for all the effort you put in to get Rozee here and as painlessly as possible. - The Connells"

I originally became interested in the bengals in 1994 due to a newspaper add stating "Toy Leopards for Sale". Curious to how someone got a "toy leopard" I called them up. After talking with these people for a while I got an idea of what the breed was supposed to be, and arranged a time to go look at the kittens they had available. Once I got there I realized these people were not well informed breeders, because what they described and what they had was entirely different. What they described was a large cat with huge spots and tons of color and distinctively different in looks from any other breed of cats. What I saw were small to medium sized, heavily barred, ticked, looking basically like any old alley cat. But this did not discourage me, in the next 2 years I called around and purchased many publications till I found reputable breeders and learned as much about the breed as I could. I learned that while "toy leopard" may be eye catching and exotic sounding it is actually harmful to the breed and very misleading (amazingly I still see this used today!). Finally I felt I was ready to start my breeding program. Through careful selection for temperament and type, I purchased my first bengal queen in Jan of 1996, and have since then added several other queens and studs to my program. Working with all colors and patterns with emphasis on the minks and sepias. Through careful selection and breeding I have been getting beautiful pelted minks, browns, and lynx points who have beautiful patterns, some rosetting, and wonderful type. I have all generations and while I love my foundation cats (F1 - F3's) I do not feel they are the bengal for just anyone, and have very strict requirements for there placement.
