Abraham Neiswander Graham. Born in Fairfield Co., Ohio in September 26, 1820. The original picture above is a ink sketch. He married Annabella Poling in October 19, 1847. To this union were born seven children, five sons and two daughters. Almenda C. Sites was born October 5, 1848. John Wesley was born April 15, 1852. Benjamin Franklin was born March 22, 1851. Isaac Newton was born January 22, 1855. Homer Virgil was born December 12, 1857. Emma Clar was born October 27, 1859. His wife Annabella Poling was born in Perry County, Ohio, Feb. 26, 1826. She was left an orphan at the age of three years, and was the last of a family of ten children. For eighty-five years she lived in the community in which she died. She joined the church of the United Brethren at Pleasant Hill, about sixty-five years before her death. She died at her home in Pleasant township, Jan. 19, 1917, at the age ninety.

Abraham was the son of John and Susanah N. Graham. John was Born in 1785 and died in 1829 at the age of 44. His ancestors were from Killwinning Scotland. Susanna was born on June 17, 1789 and died in 1848 at the age of 62. Her ancestors were from Bern, Switzerland.  John and Susanah's children were: Fanny Good born Oct. 19, 1813, Anna Stemen born Oct. 29, 1814, Joseph Rube born Dec. 23, 1815, Lydia Driver born April 4, 1817, Benjamin born Aug. 14, 1819, Abraham born Sep. 26, 1820, Eliza Eliker born May 1822, James Harrison born Aug 16, 1824, Andrew Jackson born Dec. 16, 1826.

"Chrisly" married Ann Tschantz and to them seven children were born. Ann was born in 1743. She was the daughter of Hans Tschantz. Ann died in 1815. Ann’s father was a Mennonite bishop and the Mennonite Historical Society of Lancaster Pa. has his book of sermons and ledgers. Christian moved from Pennsylvania to Rockingham Co. Virginia in 1786. Here are their children:

Maria born June 2, 1771, Abraham born May 19, 1774, Elizabeth born Jan. 19, 1777, Magdalena born May 10, 1781 Christian born Jun 16, 1783, Barbara born Feb. 24, 1786 and Susanna born Jun 17, 1789.  Susanna became John Graham's wife.

John Wesley Graham was born April 15, 1852 and died May 17, 1930.  He was the son of Abraham and Annabella Graham. He married Sarah Adelia Engle July 27, 1882 the daughter of Daniel Engle and Polly Friesner.  Their children were Harry R., Charles C. and Clark W. and pictured below.
