The ways of Gor were first introduced in The Tarnsman of Gor
a book which describes the adventures of a young man of Earth, Tarl
Cabot, who is taken to a world on the other side of the sun, one
which was very unlike the world He knew.

On Gor, Tarl met His father, a man who He had not known since a
young child, someone He had thought He would never see again. As
He grows in this new world, He finds out things are VERY different,
there are slaves who have no say over what is done with them,
strange animals such as kailla, Tarn, sleen, and Tarsks, some
very similar to those He knew on Earth, yet different. He
learns the savage ways of this new world and gradually learns
to love His new home.

siren is a slave of Gor, she has learned, through the books,
reading, and observing others, the ways of life on Gor, and
it is all she desires now. siren loves being a Gorean slave,
a life which can be vicious at times, but one which she feels
protected and safe. True, the ways of Gor are not for A/all,
but it is a way which brings intense desires to T/those who
truly understand it. Gor is Life!

In the next few pages, siren will try to define some of the ways
of Gor, the slave silk colors, the slave positions, the members
of Gor and hopefully will bring understanding to O/others. Enjoy
with an open mind and welcome to Gor!

SLAVE SILKS

There are many different colors of silks, each with their own meanings.
Below are those used in some homestones and an explanation of each.

WHITE

-a silk given white silks, is either a virgin or one whom her
Master or Mistress is not willing to share with Others. she is
only allowed to serve drink or food, and engage in conversation.
Any who violate the sacredity of the white silk, is set for a
sentence of death at the hands of the Master/Mistress who owns
the white silk.

RED

-a silk given to a pleasure slave. A pleasure slave is trained
in all sexual pleasures, in service and in dancing. Sometimes used
only by their own Master and Those He holds in trust.

YELLOW

-Tavern owned slaves or Camp slaves, can be used by Any
Masters of camp, if the Leader of the Camp is shown great respect
in return.

GRAY

-State-owned slaves.

PURPLE

-slaves who serve the Priest Kings. "Among them i saw men
and women, barefoot with shaven heads, clad in short purple tunics
thaat reflected the various lights of the plaza as though they might
have been formed of some reflective plastic." Tarl Cabot describing
the slaves He saw while with the Priest Kings in "Priest-Kings of Gor; pg. 90

BLACK

-unowned slaves.

SLAVE POSITIONS

Slave positions are ways in which a slave
kneels to their Masters, whether showing respect,
or begging forgiveness there is a position for
each. The top ten most used positions are in the
order below, followed by the remaining positions.

NADU

-This is one of the most used positions. The
slave kneels, her thighs open wide, her hands placed
palms up atop her thighs, her belly and back slightly
in, shoulders straight, forcing her breasts out, her
head is raised proudly, her eyes lowered to the ground.

KO-LAR

-Also called "The Position of Female Submission."
In this position the slave kneels at the Master's feet
and leans her body back, sitting upon her heels, with
her arms extended upward, crossed at the wrists, and her
head beneath them lowered in supplication.

LESHA

-Kneeling. The slave kneels quickly spreading her
thighs wide, arches her back stiffly and places her hands,
wrists crossed, at the small of her back, turns her head
to the left with eyes lowered submissively, lips parted
slightly and awaits the leash or inspection.

HIGH LESHA

-Also called Binding position. From the Gorean
word Lesha, which translates as "leash." In this position,
the slave remains either standing or kneeling, depending
upon the current position she is in. She turns and puts her
back to her Master, her chin up, her head turned to the left
so a leash may be attached to her collar, with her chin up
and her back and shoulders straight. Her wrists are extended
behind her, side by side, in a position to be locked into
chained slave bracelets.

BARA

-This position is correctly designated by the name
Bara, the Gorean word for "belly", although slaves are
expected to respond to either command in the same fashion.
In this position the slave falls to her stomach, face down to
the floor and turned to the left, crosses her wrists
behind her back, and similarly crosses her ankles, her
legs straight, in preparation for binding.

PROSTRATE

-The slave kneels and touches her forehead to the
floor and stretches her arms out before her with palms face
down and fingers spread.

SLAVERS KISS

-The slave falls to the floor upon all fours,
and lowers her head to the ground, with her buttocks
thrust upward and her thighs widely spread, exposing her
hindquarters fully in preparation for the caress of the
leather against her body.

GOREAN CRAWL

-The slave gets down on all fours, her palms
to elbows flat on the floor, ass in the air, forehead
close but not touching the floor. She crawls to just an
inch from the Master's feet.

OBEDIENCE

-The slave goes to the floor, laying upon her
stomach, face down before the Master. She turns her head
and places her cheek against his feet, kissing them lightly
in a gesture of love and submission.

SLAVE LIPS

-When this command is given, the slave turns her
head up to the Master, her lips pursed in a sensual kissing
position. She remains motionless, her lips thusly puckered,
and may not move until she is granted the kiss of a Master.

The following are other positions used on Gor.

BELLY

: A slave lays on her belly, parts her legs, shoulder-width
apart and lays her arms by her sides, palms up, her forehead to
the ground. She then crawls to her Master's feet, remaining on
her belly as she does so.

BRACELETS

: A slave kneels, thighs spread wide, back arched, and
extends her arms before her, her wrists together in preparation
for being bound. Her head is held high, her eyes lowered submissively.

GOREAN BOW

: A slave kneels, thighs spread wide, and leans over
backwards until her head touches the floor. She then pulls herself
up, arching her back. This exposes a slave's heat and breasts for
her Master's enjoyment.

HAIR

: A slave remains in whatever position she is in but gathers her
hair and offers it to her Master.

HEEL

: A slave kneels just behind her Master's left foot. As He moves
she must remain just behind His foot, but never come in contact with
it at any time.

KARTA

: The slave kneels on the floor, her thighs spread wide, and
leans forward placing her breasts and forehead against the floor,
her arms fully extended, palms against floor. Ankles may be crossed
or uncrossed.

KO-LAR

: The ko-lar, or collaring position, is also called "The
Position of Female Submission." A slave kneels at her Master's feet,
sitting on her heels. She extends her arms upward, and crosses her
wrists.

LEADING POSITION

: A slave approaches her Master's side and bends at
the waist, gathering up her hair to present to her Master, so he may
lead her by the hair.

OBEDIENCE

: A slave lays on her belly and places her chin on her
Master's feet.

RUN

: A slave runs toward her objective, taking small rapid steps, her
legs almost straight, her feet barely leaving the floor. As she runs,
her back is straight, her head is turned to the left, her arms are at
her sides with palms facing outward. Upon reaching her objective she
drops gracefully to her knees and typically resumes the position of Nadu.

SHE-SLEEN

: A slaves gets down on her knees and elbows and clasps her
hands over her head, raising her hips as she does so. She parts her
thighs and arches her back, forcing her hips yet higher, exposing
herself completely to His view or caress. She readies herself to be
beaten or taken sexually like an animal, depending on her Master's whim.

SUBMISSION

: A slave kneels, bending at the waist, placing her cheek
to the floor. She then takes the Master's right foot and places it
upon her neck, her arms behind her back with her wrists crossed. A
girl might assume this position if she has displeased her Master, as
it shows complete submission, His foot on her neck showing that she
offers Him even her life freely.

SULA

: A slave lays flat on the floor on her back, her feet spread
shoulder width apart. She places her wrists above her head and crosses
them. Her eyes remain lowered in submission and she silently awaits
her Master's pleasure.

SULA-KI

: The sula-ki is also known as the alternate sula. A slave lays
flat on the floor, face upward, her hands at her sides, palms open and
up. Her legs are spread wide in preparation for her Master's pleasure
and she slowly lifts her hips off the floor.

TABLE

: A slave has many uses to her Master, one of which is to present
herself as a table, to support his feet or drink. She goes to all fours
making sure her back is level, her head held straight, her eyes lowered
in submission. The girl should ensure she is stable, so as not to risk
spilling the drink, or disturbing her Master, and should remain totally
motionless. Stability can be increased if a girl ensures her thighs are
parted widely and her elbows locked.

TOWER

: A slave kneels with her knees modestly together, back straight,
eyes lowered. Her palms rest down upon her thighs.

WALK

: When this command is given, a slave turns gracefully, her hair
caressing her body as she turns. She walks quietly across the room or
camp, her feet hardly seeming to leave the ground, her hips swaying
sensually, her body erect and proud. When she reaches her objective
she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back, her chest
thrust forward, her belly in. She turns her hips out a bit, her hands
at her sides, and points one foot. Her chin is held high and her eyes
are lowered.

WHIPPING POSITION

: A slave quickly drops to her knees and raises her
hips. She places her head to the floor and then crosses her arms across
her belly. She waits motionless ready to accept her Master's punishment.
Slaves with long hair will pull their hair from their backs so as to
ensure their backs are fully exposed for the whip.
