Pahoehoe

basaltic lava with ropy surface texture.
Reticulite
Lightest rock
known. A basaltic pumice in which the walls
of the besicles have collapsed, leaving a
network of fine, interconnecting glass
threads.
Palagonite
Submarine lava flow altered to
yellowish-brown colour by the formation of
the gel mineral palagonite.
