Network for Environmentally- & Socially-Sustainable Tourism (Thailand)

The Sustainability Programme is predominantly a research programme. It examines different concepts of sustainability, including resilience, stability, and productivity, with respect to key natural ecosystems, tourism, and farming and harvesting systems. Similar concepts are applied with local communities identifying social acceptance of change and the sustainability of local cultures. The sustainability of the tourism industry in different areas, and of different types will also be assessed on a number of levels.
