Dracaena marginata Also known as Madagascar dragon tree, Dracaena marginata have spiked, often variegated, leaves that sprout from a single branch. They grow upwards and lose their leaves as they age, leaving the appearance of a small spiky tree, instead of a bush. Although the books say that they are easy to grow, the appearance of the specimen above shows that this is not always true. Although still alive, this plant has never thrived. However, it is likely that this is an exception to the rule. Care rating: |
