Fischers Mutations.

 

 

This is the Lime colour mutation. 

There is a darker green colour known in Australia as Avocado which is about half way between this colour and the normal green. 

This bird and his similar coloured mate have produced one Avocado, several Limes and one Lutino. I suspect that the more yellow colour compared with the Avocado is indicative of the bird being split for Lutino.

Slightly darker patches on the wings are random.

This is the blue mutation in the Fischers. 

The hen on the left is too dark on the head, the cock is better.

 

 

 

The Lutino mutation.

The general colour is very similar to the Lime mutation with the following exceptions:

Lutinos have red eyes.
They are a clear yellow with no darker  patches on the wings.
They have tinges of red on the rump and tail feathers rather than the grey and red of the Lime..
