Sprite's Medicine Walk

An Introduction

Hi, I'm Sprite, a.k.a. TreeSprite.

In 1996, I was shown the wonders of a new kind of chat software called The Palace. I fell in love with the program instantly! I got to know people that I wouldn't normally have met, and I became a member of a worldwide community.

I also found out that there is more to the Palace software, than just chat. When I found out that I could create my own Palace I suddenly had a new purpose. I downloaded and installed the Palace Server Software, acquired a registration code for my Server, and set about the task of fulfilling my vision.

My vision was grand. Creating a palace of my own required me to try to attain several goals:

  1. To provide an environment of trust, love, and respect so that all visitors would feel welcomed.
  2. To encourage users to learn about, come to understand, and respect the ways of others who live in this world with us.
  3. To offer hosted chat events in which users could participate, and learn about physical health, mental health, and spirituality.
  4. To create and maintain a safe environment so that visitors going through a personal crisis could feel at home and supported.
  5. To provide a relaxing place to visit so that visitors could experience the world that was here before the realm of work and stress that we humans created.
  6. To educate others about the wonders and beauty of nature, and encourage them to help preserve the treasures of the earth.
  7. To look for a way to make the Palace available, and manned twenty-four hours a day so that all the above goals would be facilitated.

humor, and be able to take the time to relax and have fun with friends new and old, and the Palace software is the best program for this that I've found.

I am a survivor of both incest and abuse, and have lived with family members who were diagnosed with multiple personality disorder and manic depression. I can offer support to persons who have a family member with these disorders. I am not a qualified medical or mental health professional but I am a loving and caring person who has been through hell myself, and I enjoy being able to offer support to anyone who wants an understanding ear.
