A Bon Voyage Message to Greg, Shelley, Maggie &
Blake Morris
I can watch with a smile
I know deep within tomorrow will be just as fine
Those sweet sad songs I can listen
without a single tear to fall
I know you'll be there when I call
Withering leaves I can bear to see
with no hesitation
'coz somebody would be there as a silent inspiration
Lakes and oceans may die
Rivers and rivulets may turn dry
But never can you see teardrops in my eyes
I can watch the glittering stars above
escape into darkness
Every blooming flower may lost its sweetness
These things I can bear
without tears, with no heartache
and so much pain.
But how can I let you go ---
I can't stand to see everything fade away.
If I can only turn back the hands of time
and keep the hours from moving...
If I will have the chance to wish upon
a star, I'd surely wish that earth will
cease to rotate on its axis, thus
stop the days from passing...
If only I can stop the autumn leaves from fallin...
If only I can ... I would have stopped
everything from movin' on.
If only I can... I'll do anything to let you stay.
Howbeit, it hurts me so much,
got to accept the fact that this is just part of life's
countless mysteries.
Those good memories, significant mementoes
and challenging moments we once shared shall
always be written in my mind and deeply carved
in my heart.
