Troop 30 believes strongly in our commitment as Scouts to community service. In addition to service hours and projects required for advancement the Troop has several ongoing service commitments. We have a section of City Street to keep clean of litter and a Community Garden to maintain year round. The garden produces up to 1000 pounds of food for low-income elderly in our community.
We also work with the City Parks Department, National Forest Service and local Industry on a wide variety of environmental, conservation and human service activities. On this page you can view some of our efforts and perhaps pick up an idea or two for other projects Troop 30 keeps 34th St clean.
