SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURE

This year Troop 30 will again hit the road for another fun filled Summer Camp Adventure. It may seem early, and Summer Vacation a long way off, but now is the time to make your plans, so we can confirm the Troops Summer Adventure 2002.

When: July 19-28 2002

Where: Thunder Ridge Wilderness Scout Camp /

Beaver High Adventure Camp

Both in Utah National Parks Council

Cost: $265.00 (includes transportation , meals and

Nine nights of camping)

Extras: Camping at Zion National Park and Brice

Canyon National Park (hikes and tour)

As we are required to provide the Camps with regular payments the following fee "Payment Schedule" has been established.

First payment (reservation) 1/28/02 $50.00

Second Payment DUE 2/25/02 $75.00

Third Payment DUE 3/25/02 $75.00

Final Payment DUE 4/29/02 $65.00

Please help us keep current with our camp fees and reservations.

Scouts who have balances in their Troop camping account can request that the payment due be taken from the account.

(Summer camp accounting will be coordinated by Ms. Linda Presti. Please do not provide any payments to other Troop Committee members.)

This years ADVENTURE is a great experience for ALL Scouts. The Camp at Thunder Ridge is rated as a wilderness camp. We will be camping on the euro meal plan (we cook in our own campsites). The Camp will offer a full Merit Badge program as well as Advancement opportunities, and traditional Summer Camp FUN.

The Beaver High Adventure Camp is also on the "euro meal plan" and will provide the older Scout with a variety of exciting challenges and program activities.
