I did the lil' optimization thing and
this color is much more accurate

and now sumthing for fun, photoshp 6 has
animated gif abilities (or better said
image ready does, which comes with photoshp
so for my animated gif project I made a
swimming zuzu.. yes swimming since I'll
confuse people if he's just floating so
here's that..

here is a close up of neko.. 50% size..
got her hair done-ish and started on her
skin shading.. but I think I'm gonna kill
the shadow layer and just add a skin layer
that I can burn because I'm too lazy to find
the right colors.. hmm i dunno she looks kinda
scared.. well.. it's a lil' hard to read her
emotions when she doesn't have any eye brows..
ought to work on that.. I wonder if I drew any
in the original.. oh well yea

yup again.. this image is getting to be what I had
in mind in the first place.. ^_^ lots of nit picky stuff
done that had to be done but you can't see it
neko's star is one.. neko's eye's for another
which allowed me to add the background which is
brought to you by corbis. you know those tiny pics that
are supposed to be samples but you can download for free
because they're such crappy quality? well they make great
backgrounds and just random noisish effects, photoshop
is good enough to not make them look pixilated, just blurry
and you can always just blur it sum more. the space
pics are good, so you just apply some crazy curves apply
sum blending modes with other layers or filters (personally
I was taught that filters are evil evil things and to stay
away from them) but I have seen some nice stuff where a filter
is applied to a part of a pic.. nooo the link to the
place with the pretty pictures is dead ;_;
oh well this is the pic

and yes new pic for today.. I added more hair to ruxo
and I did the flat color for neko and I did tentative
shading for ruxo's face and I didn't crop this one
ruxo looks really sickly in this pic, I think I redid
his skin color from reference from another pic
(phtshp saves swatches)and yea I liked his first skin
color.. especially in contrast to neko's.
no I still haven't done neko's eyes.. they're tranzparent
so she looks really freaky when I have a dark background
I've decided ruxo's hair is gonna be the way it is until I
got all the other elements in and done and I can see how
the hair looks.. it's kinda neat with a dark bg, it looks
like it glows.. but I un-glowstickified it since last time
it was hurting my eyes

note: this is 1/8 size so you guys
prob can't appreaciate how I've draw the
hair (with a very small brush for each hair)
actually now that I "step away" from the pic
I have some issues with the overall design
of the highlights and he needs more hair
in back of head and the curl closer..
