Well, since you've been enthusiastic enough to come to visit me at my web page, I guess I should do the courtesy of telling you all a little about myself. I have done my fair share of travelling around the US and living in a few different places in my pursuit of knowledge. I grew up in the NorthWest corner of Illinois right along the Mississippi River (the Mighty Miss) in a town called Moline which is part of the Quad Cities. When I decided to attend college I wanted a little change of scenery; and of course to be off on my own and away from my parents! So I traveled out to the beautiful Pacific NorthWest and settled down in Oregon for a few years attending Oregon State University. If you ever wonder what heaven on Earth is like, just travel to the coast of Oregon and enjoy the view! After soaking in all the rain I could, I needed something a little warmer and sunnier and traveled to South Carolina! Boy was that a change! Now I wasn't near an ocean, nor was there much of anything out there! But it had its moments! Like when I was so fortunate to experience my first hurricane; that would have been Fran in Sept 1996. Then I heard about this place in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains that I couldn't resist going to take a peek at. Here was this wonderful place consisting of mountains as far as you could see and filled along the way with magnificent waterfalls. It was called Cleveland, Tennessee. Of course I had a little extra desire to be here..my husband at the time was here. However as things go in life, it came and went and is now over and in the past. However the most beautiful gift came out of that union, my beautiful daughter Kylie Shea! So here I am now, happily content in my home. Just in case You want to check out a view of it, just roll those eyes a little to the right and you will see it. No, a little further..Yeah, there ya go! Keep coming back and this page will be updated further. It will be filled with images and thoughts from my family, my thoughts on some pressing environmental issues that our world is facing and a little fun stuff thrown in to keep everyone laughing and smiling! :)
