Planting: Plant crown at soil surface.
Soil: Most soils are fine as long as they are well draining and have been enriched with organic matter. If drainage is poor, build up the bed.
Position: Full sun
Climate: Cool to Sub Tropics.
Frost: Hardy.
Watering: Keep soil moist (but not soggy) whilst the plants are growing.
Fertilizer: Use well rotted manure or a slow release fertilizer.
Comments: Makes a great cut flower.
