Plant type: Almost evergreen rhizome.
Origin: South Africa
Size: Narrow tufts of foliage 30cm tall.
Flowers: Late autumn to early spring.
Climate: Cool to Sub Tropics.
Planting: Plant with the eyes 1-2cm under the soil and 5-7cm apart.
Soil: Free draining
Position: Full sun to semi shade
Frost: Goes dormant in areas of heavy frosts. Watering: Regular watering over Summer is important, do not allow to dry out.
Fertilizer: Use a complete fertilizer.
Comments:Can be left for several years undisturbed but flowers are smaller when bulbs are overcrowded. Best divided in spring 1
