foam pad(also used for padding when portaging the canoe attached with bungee cords) or thermarest
something to rest your head on small pillow or even just an empty pillow case that can be stuffed with clothes or a towel

garden or cycling gloves for paddeling ( helps prevent blisters )

Clothing

nylon pants (clothes that dry quickly and can get dirty)
water proof jacket and pants?
hiking boots or old running shoes and a pair of tevas (sandals with support that can get wet)
toque to keep your head warm on cold nights in the tent
hat and sunglasses to keep sun and bugs away
