This is bad news people. Wyoming Federal Judge Downs just ruled that wolf reintroduction to Yellowstone was illegal and he ordered that all wolves should be removed. You can read the article yourself in the Billings Gazette.

His order is pending appeal but the message is very clear. The livestock industry rules our public lands in the west and must be stopped. Each day they are working aggressively to take more of your wildlife away from you. Whether it be our wild buffalo, wolves, coyotes, grizzlies, they continue to strive to wipe our wildlife out.

I know this sounds harsh against the livestock industry but this industry is very effective in propaganda campaigns to show them as the good guys. My only wish is that the public after this winter's buffalo slaughter wakes up and starts fighting. Not enough of us are and it is time to put an end to the ongoing onslaught of our wildlife species. I do recognize the importance of the livestock industry, however, this has gone too far.

Most of our wildlife in Wyoming and Montana is very close to Yellowstone. We have millions of acres of public lands that are home to millions of privately owned domesticated sheep and cattle. This industry continues to try to gain more control of our public lands so that more cattle and sheep can graze on them. Our only recourse is to fight for an end to public land livestock grazing. We will have no wolves, our wild buffalo have been pummeled and I might add that as of today's newspaper reports the focus is now directed on our elk.

This situation is way out of control and our wildlife species are taking a pounding. Why? Because the livestock industry is very powerful and plants their politicians in all of our state government offices, even Game and Fish Departments. I know this sounds hard for some to believe that live miles away but it really is the truth. I am open to suggestions as to how we can put an end to our buffalo being slaughtered and to gain more control of our public lands without having to advocate the end of public land livestock grazing.
