First, a warning. This page is VERY outdated but I keep it anyways since it reminds me of some of the coolest people I met during school. All my friends are now 24-27, one of them is pregnant and if I am not mistaken her baby should come soon... And all of them are doing fine, only much older, more mature, and with different goals in mind. Here they are, listed in alphabetical order. :)

Amanda.-

She is 19 years old and she's a great person, and a VERY BIG fan of Ricky Martin. (You might be wondering "Who is Ricky Martin?"...) He played the role of Marius in "Les Miserables", at Broadway, and he also had the role of Miguel Morez in the soap opera "General Hospital". You might know one of his songs, called María. (Remember? "Un, dos, tres, un pasito pa'lante María...") Amanda, or Amy, as we call her, knows how to play the guitar, and she does it really cool!! She also knows how to sing and we often sing together, while she plays the guitar and I play the piano. Besides, she can handle Mathematics quite easily, the same with Physics. Hope we could say the same of History of Art, right Amy? ;)
Two of her most typical phrases:
"At first I thought she was Demi Moore, but I looked closer and she wasn't, but I could have assured that she was Demi Moore..."
"Sorry I am late, I got a flat tire..."

Ariadna.-

Ariadna, 18 years old, has been one of my best friends since I was in junior high. She is a very intelligent and responsible person, and I am sure she will achieve all her goals. Ariadna, who is often called Ari or Juana by Amy, Rocío M. and me, has won lots of prizes for reciting poems and also participating in oratory contests. Way to go Juana!!! Her favorite singer is Luis Miguel and she just loves Basketball. (she is very good at that, by the way.) Her favorite team: Chicago Bulls.
Two typical phrases of Juana:
"Because when I was a little kid I used to..."
"What? ah, yeah."

Rocío Marín.-

She is the youngest of all, being 17 years old. She can also sing very cool, and she has even appeared on TV, the same as her mother and brother. Rocío, more often called Marín, is one of the most patient girls I have ever met, she seldom gets angry (hey! During three years of knowing her, I have seen her angry only once!) And she knows how to read the Tarot!!! Marin wants to study Psychology, and we all agree she will do great in that.
Her typical phrases are:
"I want to go to the bathroom."
"Let's sing something, no?"
"Tinky tinky!" (what does this mean??? Heck, only _she_ knows! Amy, Juana and I wonder...

Well... if you want to read some of MY typical phrases too, here they go:
"Oh, look! What a beautiful dog!"
"Long live Ricky!"
"What class have we got next? Hmm... I think I'll get some sleep then."
"What?? We had homework to do??"
"¿Si te late?" (This one is in Spanish. One possible translation could be: You think it's a good idea?)
"Hakuna Matata!"
(To the math teacher) "Hey, Marianto, these integrals stink! I don't understand anything!"
"Were you talking about me behind my back?"
(While eating somebody else's lunch) "This will be the last one of my life and I won't eat anymore, I promise."
"I swear by the Motorola Modem it is not true!"
"I didn't do it."
"I will not say bad words ever again."
