Diana

Oh Diana
poor fragile flower
give me your suffering,
make your money.

Media spectacle gives opiate fix
   emotional manipulation.
As if the plight of a
Jaguar-driving Princess matters,
   the farce is complete
      we revere the parasite

we learn that a 300 pound haircut is necessary,
as we choose between two
who think they have a right to rule us
They are important to the 6 o’clock news

Without them reality might seep through
we might realise we don’t need them

The Right press decries infedility
while worshipping it, the free enterprise of Diana, goddess of the postmodern world where style is all
substance = bad. DI INTERVIEW!!!, the daily diet of appetising fluff giving so little can get you so far Oh Diana!
