Caring

People, do we give a damn
as that within us dies?

Too worried, too busily occupied,
we cram everything into our lives Ignorance has its victory over our human, silly minds. Millions of us are blind so unaware of untold stories We submit to apathy meekly commercial frippery filling the head conscience is completely frozen...dead, unused minds grow cold with lethargy Its so easy to make these decisions when making them from a distance - lives destroyed in an instant faceless millions forced into submission With their expensive war toys men kill each other without repentence, this world running on plastic grievances we shield ourselves from joy We live in a global village? Too bad its filled with rats: someone called the Pied Piper but he was battling oil spillage. No one person can change the world - we must realise our worth. Don’t sit apathetic, nothing to do its time to make our voices heard.
