"...I would like you to help look after the dental care of the students and the people who live in remote areas.
I will take care of all the necessary expenses and will provide you with a mobile dental unit to go
out to isolated villages and hamlets...".
With these words, graciously given by His Majesties the King to Dr. Sri Sirisingha, his
personal dentist, who upon retirement felt that he could be of further services to society as His
Majesty deemed suitable, the Royal Mobile Dental Unit was born. Thus on April of 18th. B.E. 2513
(A.D. 1970), at Klai Kangwol Palace, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, His Majesty
anointed the unit's vehicle. From that day until the present, The Royal Mobile Dental Unit has
carried out its duties according to His Majesty's wish in twenty-one provinces of the Kingdom.
