Welcome to RobbsBooks.com. This site started as an index of the books I own personally. It has grown into a service meant to fill the niche that automated, all-encompassing sites cannot: It attempts to provide detailed descriptions of books on a few specialized topics, compiled by a real person. In this way it is hoped that a real decision on whether or not to buy a particular book can be made.

After you have made your decision, you can follow a link to one of the online bookstores to order the book. My service is free. The way I earn money on this is through commissions from the established online bookstores. You don't pay a penny more.

I have started with the category biology, which includes animals, plants, conservation, birdwatching and other outdoor activities, etc. Planned are the categories genealogy, computers, and human languages. I am also considering topics such as education, music, developing countries, and regional interest.
