WELCOME to the JUNGLE



This is afterall the rainforest of the geocities so it would be preety obvious why we need to address the issue at hand = the rainforest.
The rainforest are the green lungs of this planet, that is a fact. Trees absorb the co2 (something that we cant use to breathe) and gives out oxygen(something that we all need!). So logically we need to protect this biological source of oxygen now.

Firstly, we need to bring this awareness to the public. However, we should not try to romanticise the subject. To protect the rainforest we need to push forward the facts i.e the green lung, not the romantic idea that its a beautiful and wonderful place. If anyone thinks it it so, they have never been in a rainforest before. The truth is the rainforest is a jungle, and like any jungle, Man is not the main Honcho. There are species of wildlife that you wouldn't want to mess with and should be left alone (remember The Lost World?). So cut the crap about how soothing and beautiful it is, when the fact is the people that make those statements thinks the rainforest is like the park in the city.

We need to be serious here.
What can we do? Well try to cut down the intake of tree base stuffs. We can use recycle paper, we can use e-mail instead of snail mail, we can read the newspapers on the internet, read books online!, and lots more. We however have to be practical, we still rely on tree base products. Until we have the technology to minimize the use of tree based stuffs, lets try to do the best we can.
