Hi Y'All

I just got an email from Jim and Rosi. They cleared customs this morning and they are now on their way to Grenada. They are expecting 20-24 hours of winds on the nose to get there (bummer). They will, however, be sailing in tandem with some good friends: Heinz and Lonna who are also en route to Grenada. They first met Heinz and Lonna in Lanzarote and then met them again the day after we got in to Trinidad. It's a very small world for cruising sailors.

They don't have a replacement for Turbo (the generator with the propellor that is dragged behind the boat), but they will use the engine to charge the batteries. They also have a small solar panel that Charles and I left with them. (Yes, the solar panel was *supposed* to charge the computer batteries while underway). The solar panel seems to provide enough power to make up for the draw of the navigation instruments.

Alles Gouda,
