Greetings!
I had a brief lab meeting this morning and, of
course, Rosi called while I was out and left a
message on my answering machine. They made it to
Grenada just fine, but didn't have such a great
time with the winds since they were out of the
northwest all the time. Their friends, Heinz and
Lonna, were pulling into the harbor when Rosi was
on the phone. They have found some internet
access, although it's not quite as cheap as it was
in Trinidad. I imagine that they welcome any
messages sent to their account
(libelle91@hotmail.com).
Glad to hear they made it ok and I'm sure they are
looking forward to exploring Grenada. Jim has been
to to the island before (I think he was crew on a
sailboat that was racing in the area). He had a
very nice time and was really looking forward to
visiting again.
That's all I have for now. I still don't have
pictures scanned from our trip, so the web page is
still not finished. Things have been quite hectic
around here. As Hannes says "the world waits for
no one, but it will take up residence on your desk
until you're back and just keep piling up."
That's pretty much how things have been going.
:-) Oh well.
Alles Gouda,
Yvonne
