Hello Friends, After a long (38 hours) and sometimes difficult sail with
hard wind on the nose at times and large seas, we are happy to be back in
the home slip. We spent more time at anchor in Copper Harbor (waiting for SW
winds to quit) than anticipated but enjoyed the town as well as an outing to
the Estivant Pines, a forest preserve with large, white pines, maples and
birch - over a hundred years old. Now we're drying out the boat and getting
ready to drive to Madison for our presentation to the Madison Power Squadron
about last year's transatlantic voyage. Til next week, ALLES GOUDA von Jim &
