Dear friends, We just moved all our personal stuff onto Libelle at Marina Beau Chen on the
Tchefuncta river. The first order of business was to put up the covered wagon awning to keep the
cabin cool in what seemed to us blazing sun and stifling humidity. Once again our friends and
neighbors here tell us its very dry. Well lets just say the mid 80's in the shade is quite a switch from
the below freezing nights we had in Wisconsin. All the errands and visiting went well - we actually
had a great time in Madison with the help of Payden and Saylor, Dave and Pat, the Sheepshead
bonders, former work friends and Barb and Deb. Rosi found a new dentist at the last minute who
replaced the filling that fell out the night before departure. Great to see Marcus, Kim, Char and Brit at
their home in Chicagoland. On Sat the little Toyota amazed us by moving all our junk through six
States and over 1K miles in 16 hours. We can help but think of the # of weeks this would have taken at
our usual pace. Looking forward to seeing all our friends in the warm country. Welcome to the list:
Harry in Trinidad and Bill in Duluth. As always, ALLES GOUDA - Jim and Rosi
