dear friends, locked in once again by fog and very inclement weather, we get
a chance to do some catching up. jim fixed the radar (corroded cables) the
reefer( poor insulation) the electric heater(corroded switch)charging
electrical equipment(we are presently at dock)and many other odd and sundry
things, besides learning morse code, keeping up with herby the weather man
and talking with ken the inventor who presently works on perfecting tiny
powerful LED lights that use hardly any electricity. unfortunately we
continue to have E or SE winds continuously with tiny sprinkles of W/NW, to
short to make a reasonable crossing to sarasota or even tarpon springs. our
present location is pirates cove at the w-side of perdido bay, is very
funky, easy, and pretty with great woods all around, plenty of
dolphins, pelicans, herons, loons and dogs at the anchorage as well as at
docks. thank you Kenny Argenta for the recommend. furthermore every morning
is cruiseheimers SSB hr from 0730-0800 CST at 8152 upper sideband and we
would love to talk to anyone with sideband capability. talked to winddancer
in luperon this morning. our most recent exiting accomplishment was booking
flight tickets to hamburg to arrive 20 march at 1130. for now thats the
news or we overstay our welcome here. alles gouda jim and rosi.
