I got another message from Rosi and Jim on my answering machine on Saturday. I just keep missing them - rats! They called from Mas d'Agenais. I found a web site that includes some information and maps about this region - unfortunately it is more directed toward selling you on a canal tour, but you can check it out at: http://www.barginginfrance.com/region7.htm There are two waterways which run approximately parallel with each other: One is the Garonne river, and the other is the canal. Rosi said that it was very warm and that they are having a truly wonderful time. They are on the "Canal Lateral" and they are now quite accomplished at working the locks by themselves.
