I guess there was no whale whisking them off, the real reading from
yesterday was:
longitude 72 degrees, 46.0 minutes.

Wally wasn't able to talk to Peter at 10 am (CDT), but did get thru at
1:30 this afternoon.  The latest info is:  Longitude 71 degrees west,
38.4 min. Latitude 34 degrees north, 67.4 min.  Bearing 273 degrees.
Light wind.  Temperature 78 degrees. Peter was harder to hear today.
They are 419 nautical miles from Charleston.

From the map I have, this puts them past (east of) the Gulf Stream.
