Greetings!
Dan and Pat Miller are back from their "European Adventure" and they were
kind enough to provide a little synopsis of their time with Rosi and Jim.

I am happy to report and Rosi and Jim and doing
very well, they are very happy with the trip, seemed very pleased and have a sense of accomplishment for what they have done so far. They are getting along together very well and are looking forward to the next
phase of the trip to the Canaries. We were able to find them by sheer luck from our cab ride from the train station. We had arrived a day early and they [happened to be] at the city dock - only a hundred yards from the center of Milazzo and close to the public rest rooms near the promenade along the sea wall. We had a great time talking about the crossing and all the adventures that they had. We sailed for a day, had planned to sail to a posh resort about 5 hr. away but the winds kicked up and Pat was looking a little green around the gills so we sailed back
to our city dock. Jim and Rosi had explored the islands off Milazzo which has an active volcano and some ancient civilization sites that go back to the eight century b.c. Because of our time limits we took a hydro boat out for a day trip, spent time on Volcano and Lipari. It was too late to get to Strumbuli - an active volcano which shoots red hot lava at night, too bad.
Both Jim and Rosi seem like seasoned sailors ready for anything, Jim said that the trip back to the Caribbean should be easy since the winds are favorable and distance is relatively short, they were both looking forward to getting out of the Med since the weather was so changeable. I am sending a few pictures to show you that Rosi and Jim are in good shape
and happy...

I have "webbed-up" the pictures and you "should" be able to find them at this new address: http://geocities.datacellar.net/allenyc/index.html -- follow
the links to the Libelle voyage and Milazzo pictures. If you have any troubles, try http://geocities.datacellar.net/RainForest/Vines/2328/index.html
While you're at it, follow the links to see how Payden looks now! (Payden is my nephew - born 11 days after Jim and Rosi left)
