They should *be in Horta* right now! According to Hannes: Assuming a constant speed, they should have made landfall at 09-Jun 07:30 GMT, which is 06:30 Azores local time, and 09-Jun 02:30 CDT.

I got this message from Bud Morin:

On 6/8/99, from (6/9/99, 0304 to 0322 Z). He talked with Peter using morse code. Latitude was 38 deg 30 min North, longitude 29 deg 05 min West, 22 nautical miles from Horta. This will be his last broadcast for two weeks, while they get recovered and recouped in Horta.

We expect to hear something soon from them via the internet.
