Some vessels in the marina would probabaly be able to do the crossing in less time than "Libelle", but we decided to do things the "old-fashioned" way. 
We had a little time to snoop around the town of Santa Cruz, but didn't make it out to the rest of the island.  

I was surprised by how dry Tenerife is, but Rosi and Jim thought it was quite lush compared to Graciosa and Lanzarote.

We ate at some nice restaurants, and enjoyed watching the preparations for Christmas festivities.  We mostly busied ourselves with getting the boat loaded with food and ready to make the crossing.
