We didn't have much time to get used to the boat, as the winds were strong (20-25kts) from the get-go.  Many people cross the Atlantic during this time of the year to take advantage of the strong, even trade winds.  The winds really helped us make a fast passage, but I think I could have used a few days when the winds weren't quite so strong.  I shouldn't compalin so, we did some slacker wind toward the last part of the trip.

Charles was a great help for Jim on the foredeck.  I was too much of a chicken to spend very much time up there, but Charles really seemed to enjoy it.
