Lemur Behavior


Welcome to my website!
For my science research project I decided to observe and do a study of the behavior of the Black-and-White Ruffed Lemur, or Varecia variegata variegata. I wanted to know if the lemurs that live in the zoo behaved similar to lemurs that had been observed in the wild. Since Black-and-White Ruffed Lemurs are very threatened, this seemed like a very important question. If lemurs that lived in zoos behave the same way as wild lemurs, it could mean a lot to the survival of their species.
