On March 3, 2001 I visited Bucks County in the snow and The Philadelphia Flower Show. CLICK HERE to see pictures of the visit. Due to popular demand, I took some photos of my June, 2000 garden. On June 9, 2000, Bill, Butch and I traveled up I-95 from Annapolis to Bucks County, PA, where the gardens are lovely, the food is delicious and the service is delightful. CLICK HERE to see four pages of photos of our visit. Here is my May, 1999 addition. My mother came to visit from Houston and we traveled to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. CLICK HERE to see this gardener's paradise. I was born in Northampton, Massachusetts and grew up in Houston, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Finance. For 15 years, I worked in the banking industry, mostly in Texas. After a brief detour to Las Vegas, I now live in Annapolis, Maryland and work for my brother Bill. He owns a commercial construction business called 3rd Coast Contractors, Inc. The name references the East and West coasts, as well as the Gulf coast, which is only 50 miles from Houston. I purchased my current home in June, 1996. I enjoy gardening, biking and photography. My home is surrounded by trees, so my garden is heavily shaded. Here is my home as of June, 2000. Here is beautiful painting by Harriet E'rmertrout, a Bucks County watercolorist. I won this painting in a charity auction presented by Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County. My Uncle Bill and and his friend Bob own a wonderful home and surrounding acreage in Buckingham, Pennsylvania where they have created a their own beautiful garden paradise. Fortunately, they are protecting their beloved property for all time with the aid of their local chapter of The Nature Conservancy. My brother Bill now has a boxer named Butch.
