On May 3, 1999, my Mother, Audrey, and I visited Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Eventhough we experience periods of light rain, we had a great time. The gardens are beautiful and can be visited several times a year since the displays are always changing.
The Longwood Gardens web site provides additional information on its 1,050 acres. The estate has 40 gardens, over 11,000 types of plants, a massive conservatory and fountains.
After entering the garden, we made a right turn and began our tour with the Flower Walk. This photo shows tulips and forget-me-not in bloom.
