Wicca Lessons
~ Lessons 6-7
Creating Sacred Space
The Quartered Circle

To Print Out:
Year of the Wheel Worksheet

Class Three

April 6

Reading Assignments:

Wheel of the Year: I think this is the most beautiful "Wheel of the Year" page I've ever seen. It has clickable links set up as an image map of the Wheel. It also has an animated cursor that is very pretty. Although I'm not asking you to read that material, there are brief descriptions of each Sabbat available through the links.

Please print the following:
Circle of Suns and Seasons
Thirteen Moons

Materials to obtain: A blank book (This is the same book mentioned in the Class 1 Assignments. It is not the same as the notebook you bring to class). Colored pencils; recommended but not required.

Assignments from Class 3

~ Continue meditation regime, increasing the length of the meditation gradually by each day up to 10 minutes.

~ Copy into your S.B.O.S. the 13 Moons Chart.

~ Select a Moon system from the Chart and tell why each Moon is named as it is.

Teachers Note
After Class 4, the Study Group materials will be moved to the Yahoo!Group.

Class Two

Meditation FAQ; Worldwide Online Meditation Center
General Information: Worldwide Onlien Meditation Center

It is not necessary to print these out, but please do have read them before class.

Assignments from Class 2:

~Establish a regular meditation regime. Begin with 5 minutes a day then gradually increase the time you spend meditating. Do not try to do any more than 15 minutes yet, because you need time to integrate the new practice into your life. Work on Exercize 11 from Starhawk's Spiral Dance.

~Create and maintain a record of your meditation experiences. Include date, time, day of week, your physical and mental condition before beginning, anything interesting you experienced and found to be relivent during your meditation, & your physical and mental condition after finishing.

Class One

Wiccan Creed
Wiccan Rede (long version)
Principles of Witchcraft
Cunningham's Laws
Witchs' Rede of Chivalry

Print or handwrite out the information on the pages linked to above.
Students are responsible for bringing their own writing paper, pens and/or pencils.
Discussion on Fri 3/21/3

Assignments from the first class were:

- Obtain a blank book. Large sketch book type works well. Leave the first five pages blank. They are for your title page and table of contents. The title page is to contain the name of the book "Student Book of Shadows", your name, the name of your teacher (Teacher: Omega Sygalmoon), and the date the book was started.

-Hand copy over the Creed, the Rede, the Code, and the Principles into the blank book that is to become your Student Book of Shadows. These are the ethical guidelines that your teacher expects you to understand in the bright hope that you will embrace them in your life.

-Read and review the Principles. If there is anything you don't understand, make a note of it. If there is anything you disagree with, write down the reason. This assignment should be completed in your notebook, not your SBOS.

-A line by line personal interpretation of the long version of the Rede.
